Therapeutic Massage

The massage that goes to the root of pain.

Meridian Physiotherapy: the traditional oriental technique of the Wat Po monks. Not just temporary relief — deep work on tissue and energy.

The technique

Pressure, not friction.
Meridians, not just muscles.

Meridian Physiotherapy uses finger pressure on soft tissue and trigger points to relieve muscle and joint pain. It comes from the ancient Asian therapy practised by monks in Buddhist temples — a tradition of deep care, not surface care.

Pressure on the inflamed area moves blood through the blocked tissue. On release, fresh oxygen-rich blood flows in and the natural healing process begins.

The treatments

Every treatment grows from the same root — traditional Eastern medicine — and adapts to your specific condition. There is no rigid protocol: we work together on what your body is asking for.

Main treatment

Therapeutic Meridian Massage

The heart of my work. Finger pressure along the body's meridians — the energy lines of traditional Chinese medicine. It releases deep blockages, eases joint and muscle pain and restores the body's natural flow. Suited to chronic pain, stiffness and recovery after injury.

Muscle tension

Tension Release Massage

Focused work on contracted muscles and tight fascial chains. Ideal for anyone who stores stress in the neck, the shoulders, the back. Deep pressure releases the knots, breaks the pain cycle and allows the body to relax.

Whole-body rebalancing

Reflexology

Plantar reflexology works on reflex zones in the feet — precise areas that correspond to organs, glands and body systems. Targeted pressure on these points stimulates the autonomic nervous system, improves circulation and rebalances organ function. Indicated for chronic fatigue, sleep problems, accumulated tension and general states of imbalance.

Body + emotion

Psychosomatic Treatment

Connections between physical tension and the specific emotions held (or rooted) in the points of the body that pain is flagging. For anyone who wants to discover how their own life experiences turned into physical discomfort, and understand where it comes from.

Techniques used

An integrated approach to the physical body.

Manual treatment with finger pressure and precision

Main technique

Frees movement blockages, reduces tendon inflammation, eases muscle pain and contractures. Very effective on neck, shoulders, back, hips, legs, knees and feet.

Acupressure

Non-invasive

An ancient technique born thousands of years ago in Asia, it works on the acupuncture points along the body's main meridians — the energy lines and points of traditional Chinese medicine. It finds the exact point of pain and eases it, feeding the tissue of the painful area with the oxygen carried by the blood flow, which finger pressure reactivates.

Trigger Point Work

Pain relief

Trigger points are muscle knots that radiate pain to distant areas. Manual work on these points decompresses the tissue, breaks the pain cycle and restores mobility.

What you gain

More than a standard massage.

Circulation

Pressure moves blood through the blocked tissue; on release, oxygenated blood flows in and healing begins.

Nervous system

Lowers cortisol, switches on the parasympathetic system to bring stress and anxiety down, and lifts your mood.

Muscles and fascia

Releases chronic contractures, improves elasticity and joint mobility. Excellent for anyone who plays sport, including at competitive level, for anyone doing heavy work, and for anyone sitting for long hours or holding rigid postures and ending up with swelling, stiffness and heaviness.

Energy (mood and vitality)

Rebalances the flow of energy along the meridians. Reduces heaviness, chronic fatigue and the unexplained sense of being blocked.
